Basic principles of Discordianism:

Although it is a recognized parodic religion, it is difficult to be able to express its set of beliefs in a concrete way, organized and detailed, since they are presented from disjointed fragments.

However, we can highlight that one of the main objectives of religion is to demonstrate in different aspects and constantly, the absurdity found in other religious dogmas.

In general, this religion recognizes discord and chaos as desirable elements and qualities, which are in contrast to most existing religions in which harmony and order are largely idealized. Thus, the representation of Discordianism is the goddess of Discord, in its Greek version, Eris.
Discordian myths

In the Principia Discordia there are three myths on which the main foundations of this religion are founded, these are:

First myth: it is a story about Thornley's enlightenment, in which it is believed that Eris appears to him in the form of a chimpanzee to talk to him and mention some confusing phrases, among them: Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle.
